Well, we were awakened this morning by quite the rain shower... and it rained and it rained and it rained some more. Rain is absolutely my favorite type of weather. It demands the windows to be opened, the "rainy music" to be played, and the mess to begin. Rainy days mean messy houses... and that's totally fine with me.
Stickers sent from Susu found their home on our pillows.
Books, toys, dresses, milk... some sun starting to cast a light.
Painting with a two year old... even the table becomes a work of art. :)
Her abandoned cart that collects all her treasures each and every day.
As most families find, children can make a mighty mess in no time. Dustin and I, who are borderline neat freaks, have found comfort in a verse from Proverbs (that has nothing to do with children but definitely can relate)... "Where there are no oxen, the stable is clean..." Proverbs 14.4. I like to think "Where there are no kiddos, the house remains clean..." but messes made by those little kiddos is far greater than a clean house. Now I'm off to clean before the girls wake up with the energy to create new messes...
Oh, and the sun is coming out!
love,
Caro
