For More Than a Week

Are these not the sweetest faces? I am the luckiest girl in the world!

... Julip has been 9 months old. No, I didn't miss it; I was very aware of my little girl's huge milestone. NINE MONTHS- c-c-c-crazy! (Wasn't I just preggers?)

Just so you know, our nine month old has two teeth poking through! She hasn't been complaining, they just appeared one morning, one at a time. But ya know, she doesn't really need teeth because she isn't eating real food...just drinking milk made just for her. We are trying to get her digestive system worked out.

But don't you worry. She is definitely a healthy baby girl! She weights 19.8 lbs! (let me remind you she weighed 6.14 lbs at birth). I wish I could measure her height but she is just too wiggly! :)

Little Jube has new tricks, too. She can pull up without a problem, but now she can also let go and balance for about 5 seconds (sometimes longer). She figured this out one night at small group in front of all of her friends and their parents. She must be a showoff. She wanted to hold two things at once and had to let go of the table she was balancing with... we were all so impressed! Our small group has been together since before Julip was born, so it is so fun that they have seen her from "helpless babe" to the present "Miss Personality"!

Not only is Julip a showoff and full of personality, but she has also learned to wave and kiss! When people walk away from her, she sticks her arm out and moves it up and down. At first I didn't think she was actually waving, but she does it each time! Smart baby girl!

And as far as the kissing goes, one night she was sitting in my lap and as I was talking to her she plunged forward and planted her mouth on mine. I thought, "Aww, she's learned to kiss!" But, it didn't stop there. She started licking my mouth!!! Yes, she is a french kisser... oh brother, what are we going to do?!!!

I have a feeling that our baby girl may start some walking by Christmas... we better get ready!!!
