15 Weeks!

Hi dear readers! I'm stopping in for a short update on week 15! Remember last week's post when I mentioned how I was hesitant to say I felt better because so often when I do, I start feeling sick again? Well, literally an hour after I published the post, I ran to the bathroom to throw up all the inhabitants of my stomach. My first hurl of this entire pregnancy. And worst of all, most of it was tomato soup. It doesn't leave the best aftertaste. (I don't really like any words that mean "to regurgitate"... sorry for the distasteful lingo.)

I'm tempted to take the rest of my maternity pictures like this. It looks more like I have a rump than a bump! 

Since that day, however, I truly have felt better. As long as I don't allow myself to get hungry, I'm happy. Some of my most recent cravings have been chocolate milk (we just got our raw milk from the farm and I drank an entire half gallon on the way home!), clementines (I eat like six a day), and alcohol, just to be honest with you. Anytime I see a glass of wine or a cold beer, I just want it. Smelling it helps to subside the craving, thankfully.

I look like a school teacher, ha.

I know expecting mother's can start to feel movement as early as 14 weeks. I'm trying so hard to feel this little one move! Also, the sex of the baby can be detected as early as 16 weeks. Dustin and I may try to butter up the sonographer at our next appointment! :) How exciting!

What you don't see in this picture is little Julip sitting next to me. She was so frustrated that I wouldn't let her bite the apple just yet. Oh, dear.
