Even with us moving far away from our family in the South, sometimes it seems like our visits are more meaningful when we haven't seen each other in a while. Kinda like the simple concept of being more hungry after not eating in hours. Thankfully, we actually get to visit our family fairly often, although not nearly enough. We wrapped up our summer with a trip to the beach and along the way were able to visit our Alabama family. It was so enjoyable, meaningful, and healing in a lot of ways. Such a great time visiting.
These two love their grandparents. And Julip says, "Bobo has all my TOYSSSSS!"
It's a standing tradition to visit the botanical gardens anytime we're in Birmingham.

We also were able to visit with some great grandparents recently!
Thanks to some great flying rates, my mom was able to come see her girls a few weeks ago, too. We had such a great time soaking in Julip and Eloise, eating at great restaurants, and just not having much responsibilities all week long. Such a lovely visit!

We're so thankful for the opportunities we have to visit with our family members... and Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming right up! :) Cannot wait to see even more of our family!
