It's been about a month or two since I last posted about our garden! We have lots growing, praise the Lord! I cannot tell you how thankful I am for growth and how much more delicious homegrown food taste! For example, the kale from our garden has such a tastier taste than the kale I get from Whole Foods! It's pretty crazy! :)
I've been taking a picture of the garden every Monday and hope to show the progression of growth as the garden starts, is in full swing, and eventually, returns to seed! It should be neat!
Our garden! :) The Jernigan plot is the second long row running from left to right...
Colorful swiss chard... oh what to do with you? ha I never know! Any suggestions?
GARLIC! My favorite!!!
Broccoli! Will you produce for our family, please?
Buttercrunch lettuce, yummy!
Chard, tiny bit of arugula, kale (it is so so good), garlic leaves, and lettuce. A bountiful harvest! I was able to share with three other friends!
We love being out in the garden (we, as in Julip and I). We go out there every single day to check on things, water, and now (the best part) harvest! Today we're transplanting peanuts, started beans, and sewing more lettuce! Yay!
with love,
farmer-wanna-be, Caro
