These past few weeks have been so different than our normal lives. We've had great visitors visit us, Dustin's been gone for two weeks in Honduras, and we went on a mini-trip to visit friends and family. It seems like we've been trying to fit in some last minutes things before our lives change dramatically! :)

Dustin is extremely proud of this picture... he thinks he took a good one.
Rather than being all mopey and sad while Dustin was gone, I decided to stay SUPER busy! I have definitely taken nesting to a whole new level. Honestly, I think I may have a problem. But lots has been getting done around here before baby comes. And I was able to surprise Dustin with some DIY home updates upon his return!
Basically, during the day Julip and I played outside. We ate every meal outside and played out in the garden with friends and in the sunshine. At night, after Julip went to sleep, I mostly sewed or built/made things into the wee hours of the night... If you've ever wondered, birds here in St Louis wake up some time around 3:15 a.m.

Finally Dustin came home! :) And we had such a lovely couple of days before he went back for round two in Honduras (which was unplanned, but God totally worked it out for him to go again with the other half of the youth group!)
I have this thing where I can spot animals in the wild... and I'm kinda prideful about it, ha! So here is a turtle we found in the park.

I'll have to do a separate blog post on all of the things I've been working on... but in the meantime, I have more to do!!! :) And baby is coming any day now! :)

Oh such precious pictures!!! I just love the one where Julibelle is carrying her purse on a walk with Daddy!! and the one with her eyes closed. All are so cute!!

She is just precious Caroline! In that breakfast picture... was that a cooked egg in a avacado?? What was that exactly, and how do you make it!? haha
