It's Fall (then Winter) then Spring!

This fall weather is just glorious! We literally have had our windows opened for nearly two months now. The leaves are changing, the weather is changing, the harvest is changing... I'm changing, too.

For the past few weeks, I have had zero interest in food. I manage to eat some bread, some eggs, and maybe an apple or two. Nothing too flavorful (yuck), not even coffee (and if you know me, then you know this is not like me. I LOVE coffee).

I never take naps but have been napping nearly everyday. I've also been waking up feeling a little icky (in the morning... and all day long) ... you know, nauseated.

Hint, hint, hint!

THAT'S RIGHT, YOU GUESSED IT! WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY JERNIGAN!!!

Pictures of tee-tee sticks are so funny to me. I decided to add the pretty flower to make it better. EXCITING! 

All of these uncomfortable symptoms have nothing on the excitement we're sharing with the news of baby number 2 growing in my tummy. Saturday, I was officially 11 weeks pregnant! The baby is about the size of a fig. And is growing, growing, growing! The baby is now almost fully formed (can you believe it!) And it's bones are hardening and teeth buds are starting to form... heart is beating, eyelids are closed, hands and feet are there with toes (hopefully 10 each). How crazy is this process of growing life!?

This was the day I found out. I wish I had a better picture. And I wish the mirror was cleaner. Let's just say, a little someone loves touching mirrors and giving herself kisses! :) 

I'm not really showing. I've gained no weight (actually lost maybe 5 lbs). I only kinda can see a bump at the end of the day once I've eaten a lot. It took me a while to show with Julip, too, but since my body has done this once before, I'm guessing I'll be showing any day now. As far as cravings go, I crave sushi (cooked, of course), grapefruit/citrus (just like I did with Julip), and pizza... but that's normal for all Jernigans all the time, ha.

When is baby due? Well, now is Fall, I'll be growing and growing during the Winter, and then come Spring, baby will be born! The due date is April 30th. (My birthday is May 4th- early birthday present maybe?) Julip came on her exact due date, but that is pretty rare so we shall see.

We were attempting to get some belly photos, but someone needed some hugging. 

Can you believe she'll be a big sister? 

We seriously would love another little girl but would love a boy, too. We actually were hoping for twins! But both Dustin and I (and many family members) have a feeling a little Dustin is growing this time. Oh the excitement and anticipation! Yes, we're going to find out. We have about 10 more weeks to go, though. We'll find out for Christmas!

                              

Julip literally started showing interest in her baby dolls just around the time we found out. Now she doesn't go very far without a baby to hug and feed. Perfect timing! 

Can you tell that we cannot wait? Julip is going to be a big sister!!! She'll be 2 years and 3 months older. We think that works out great!
