What Did We Do?

Well now that I've told you we went on vacation and that we saw lots of people, let me share what we did while we were away! 

We drove. A lot. Somehow Julip still managed to take two naps while on the road.

I say "we drove" but Dustin drove the entire trip. Thank you!

We seriously couldn't decide if we'd vacation in Chatanooga or Huntsville. Huntsville won out in the end. 

We visited with great friends and family! 

 Eric and Whitney. 

 Chase and Holly. 

 Sweet Katy and little Conner man. 

James, Dustin, and Chasey. 

Chase gave up his bed so we could sleep at his house. He and Julip were watching the news together. Aww. 

We visited a new town, bought a new book, and ate lots and lots of delicious food! 

Somehow I'd never visited Nashville. 

The Help based around the area Dustin and I fell in love. I read it out loud most of the drive back home.

Milk Stout. Mouthwatering. 

 Delicious local cheese and fruit plate. 

 Incredible Bavarian sausage, cabbage, potatoes, and vegetables. It was insanely tasty. 

 What can I say...we were on vacation. Yummy! 

 We even splurged on coffee! 

 Eggplant and portabella mushroom sandwich. 

 Grassfed angus burger. Yummy french fries!

 Beignets for breakfast. We couldn't resist. 

And then we finally headed back home. The arch is crazy cool.

 Hello arch. 

 Welcome home. 

 It was our anniversary. But we drove all day. But we still had to celebrate. Yum- whole foods pizza, wine, and cheese. Couldn't get any better than this! And yes, Dustin's even lighting a candle :) 

Cannot wait till next year's family vacation!
