Julip's First Kiss!

Ever since we met the amazing McCann family, we have decided that Julip will marry little Conner. I met Katy in the nursing room- you know the one with the window where you can see out but no one can see in- at our past church. We were awkwardly nursing our babies. Her baby was bigger than mine, and she clearly knew what she was doing. I had only been a mom for two short weeks. I could tell she had more experience so I was trying to watch her without her noticing or without me really seeing anything. Man... I am a CREEPER.

Conner is 6 months older than Julip (although they are both small for their age). I like how it looks like the plant is growing out of his head.

Anyway, right as she was ready to leave she says, "Hi, I'm Katy!" And I introduced myself and she seemed to recognize my name. She informed me that we were going to be in the same small group. Great! Now she'll tell all the other ladies I was creeping behind her while we were in a 6'x4' room. Nursing our babies. Great.

Look at those blue eyes and red hair on that boy and sweet blonde hair on that girl!

Thankfully we formed a great friendship. I know we're kindred spirits. I have a deep love for her. And her family. But there is just one small issue.

They are Mississippi State Fans. This is something that Dustin thinks is a near deal-breaker. (Conner... come over to the REAL Mississippi University! OLE MISS! Hotty Toddy!)

While we were visiting, we caught up with them at Lil' Rosie's for some chips'n'salsa, floor exploring, kissing, and a quick evacuation before Rosie herself could kick us out.

Sweet Maggie was helping "baby Julip" drink her juice :)

And Con-man was showing us his fork skills.

Then it was time to play, act crazy, and get funny looks!

 Peek-a-boo!

And here it comes...

 What a cute little kissy-face!

 Con-man doesn't seem very interested.

Julip got more kisses out of sweet Maggie!

Maggie is so loving towards little Jubie!

I love how the little ones have their hands resting on their legs.

 Maggie is so beautiful!

And look at those little backsides.

 I love these kiddos!

 Look at those legs...

And there are the parents chatting away in the reflection. Probably about this year's game between Ole Miss and State. (We're gonna bring the egg back home!)

We were actually able to see ALL of our small group! A friend I've made here recently asked if I miss any friends I've had to leave behind over the years. These people in this picture come to mind when thinking about that question. My heart misses these couples and their kiddos so much. I'm so glad we were able to swim and visit! We love y'all!

Dustin, me, Julip, Kelly, Jay, Wyatt, Suzie, Beau, Matt, Wells, Heather, Luke, Clara, and Chris!

Lots of love,
Caro
