We are fortunate to live in the most beautiful side of St Louis (for now). Clayton is home to (small) castles with enormous, old trees lining the streets (and allegedly Mark McGwire). It is such a pleasure to walk through the neighborhoods spotting squirrels, bunnies (St Louis has so many wabbits), birds, and pups! Yesterday, we even saw a large cat on a leash. Thinking about it now, it may have been a wildcat someone domesticated.
Julip points and says, "Puppy!"
Huge, beautiful trees! I wouldn't mind being a tree. They are my friends.
Susu got Julip some real walking shoes and she loves them. She wants to wear them all day long!
We found pretty flowers. I think Julip thought I was trying to feed her something super strange...
She did end up putting it in her mouth. Silly girl. "Yummy, stigma and pistil!"
I love walking by this house. Do you see the vines growing inside the window? Very neat... probably not for the owner though.
After an hour or so she's ready to head home for dinner and bedtime.
Sweet Julibelle really seems to enjoy walks. As long as we keep moving, she's content sitting still and watching the world go by. It's a good solution to her feeling cooped up all day and keeps the books on our shelves a wee bit longer. Otherwise, we have a disaster zone! :)
with love,
Julibelle's momma, xoxo
I hope Dustin and I are as young as you are at 50! :)
P.S. HUGE BIRTHDAY WELL WISH TO GRANDPA BOBO! HE'S TURNING 50 TODAY! We miss you and can't wait to see you and hope you have a wonderful day!
