Walking About the Messy House

I've mentioned that Julip is walking, right? She started walking pretty much the week we moved to St. Louis! It is so fun to watch her go about the house as she pleases. She has so much more freedom and loves it! She is still in the "waddling" phase, but is quickly improving each day. She hardly ever crawls nowadays. And the house is hardly ever clean nowadays.

But you know what surpasses a dirty house and busy toddler? The reward of hugs! Even more excitingly, Julip just learned to give hugs! Yesterday, while I was finishing cooking lunch, she was holding on to my leg as if hugging it. I knelt down and she threw her arms around me! My heart just melted! I remember when she was still growing in my tummy dreaming about the day she would run to me and give me a big hug. Well, the day has finally come and my heart exploded! I cannot even tell you how many times Dustin and I encouraged her to walk back and forth between us giving hug after hug after hug! :) We love our Julibelle, and she might, just maybe, love us, too
