Sweet Summertime

All throughout the summer, short trips and adventures have been planned (by Dustin) for the youth group. Julip and I try to make it to each event and always have the best time getting to know the kiddos. They are all exceptionally talented (many muscicians, divers, hockey players, artists, and the like) and one of the girls is interested in photography. She shot these great pictures of little Jubie visiting the arch!

I love that she looks like she's dancing!

 Dustin's favorite!

And with this sweet summertime weather, we've been enjoying homemade popsicles! Dustin's Uncle Brian sent us an awesome popsicle maker called a Zoku. Get one. It's awesome!

 First popsicle EVER!

Coldest food ever...

I think she likes it!

With this sweet summertime, we're also moving. When? THIS WEEKEND! It is quite a busy week as I've had two tests, started another class, and am (still currently) packing up everything we own. And just in case you've forgotten. This is the FIFTH time we've moved since we've been married. But I'm more than excited to move.

Where? Oh, just down the road from the church (and Whole Foods) (and Trader Joes). Cool story: The day before we were going to sign a mortgage on a house, a nice man called Dustin and offered us one of his coveted houses. You see, he rents houses out to seminary/ministry people at a "lower-than-market-price" rate. Much, much lower. He has a waiting list and everything (we were originally number 12 in line... then moved to number 1. Mysteriously). God's timing was perfect.

And you know what else? The most exciting part (in my opinion) is he has a field for gardening. He has offered as much of the land for me to garden as my heart desires. And on that land he already has apple trees, cherry trees, grape vines, and blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry bushes. I'm so excited. But you probably already caught on to that.  Other great news is it is two houses down from our friends. And more seminary students live on the street for us to meet and get to know. Did I mention, I'm a little excited!!! :)
