Almost Summertime

With summertime coming in, who can stay inside!? My mom came in town on a last minute visit and we had fun outside all weekend long. Her birthday is Friday (happy early birthday mom) and we made sure to celebrate!

Beautiful flowers I picked while on a walk.

We rarely have a picture of the three of us! What a cute family I have!

As you can tell, little Julip knows how to work the camera!

We went to a local park and let Julip run around while we enjoyed coffee and snacks. Julip and another cute little baby were making googley eyes at one another! She is such a cheese ball!

We saw a little bunny. I tell ya, there are as many bunnies as there are squirrels here in St Louis!

Julibelle swinging away!

Julip started doing the cutest sign language motion. When she wants you to pick her up, she cups her tiny hands together and makes a noise like "uuuh?" She also gives you the "puppy-dog eyes" and you can't help but pick her up and kiss her little face!

 Can you see her motioning?

Sweet baby Julip girl in a dress her Mimi sent her.

My mom left early Monday morning, but Dustin had the day off so we celebrated even more! I couldn't find my little baby or my baby baby and then, I found them both in the crib! Can you believe it!?

Jubie knows something is not exactly right...

We then got in the car and headed to the park! Dustin and I brought our tennis rackets and Julip brought her pac'n'play. We were determined to play some tennis and were just hoping Julip would oblige!

I promise, we were parked in this picture. She gets buckled up when we start driving!

And guess what? Sweet Julibelle let us play for about an hour. By play, I mean Dustin runs around the entire time retrieving the balls I hit all over the place. Or, I guard my face as Dustin practices his mighty serve. I'm not the greatest athlete, but we surely had fun. To cool off, we walked to the kid's fountain!

Funny picture.... I didn't intend on getting wet but had to protect my little beginner walker from rambunctious boys plowing everyone down! They better watch out... Julip is solid!

In our temporary apartment, we don't have an outdoor area. So, we dusted off the ol' George Foreman and grilled away! Speaking of housing, a huge door has opened up, and we'll be moving at the end of the month! I cannot wait to give you more details on our amazing opportunity... but for now, just know that God is so so good!

Even without mustard, mayonnaise, or ketchup, these hamburgers were delicious! Fresh spinach from our local farmer friend, raw cheddar cheese, mushrooms and onions, and juicy beef! Potato wedges and a Schlafly Kolsch puts condiments to shame.

Jubie's always getting kisses from her Duddy!

We will miss walking in the beautiful neighborhood by our church.

What a beautiful, happy baby girl.

Did you have an exciting Memorial Day weekend, too?
Love,
Caro, xoxo
