Can you believe it? Shorts are back on, Chacos are exposing toes, and Spring Break is here! :) What a lovely time of year!
We have been looking forward to this time for so long now! To begin our celebration, I surprised Dustin with a special breakfast! Sometimes with the morning feedings, Dustin gets out the door with an empty stomach! It is truly one of the most saddening things to me... I love making him big breakfasts, knowing he leaves the house full and ready for a long day! We see missed meals as small sacrifices for such a sweet baby girl, though!! But during Spring Break, when there is no work, we have plenty of time for omelets!
*my very FIRST omelet!
And a long with Spring Break comes visitors from Mississippi! Carter and Kim decided they wanted to come see the Jernigans during their time off! How sweet! They brought their daugter too! She's much hairier than Julip and has big teeth, but she just likes to sleep, eat, and poop too!
*Julip's first time around an animal!
It was Julip's first time to meet Lillie! They will be great friends, I'm sure! Looks like Julip is already trying to pet her with that escaped hand! ha
Julip enjoyed having four "parents" this past week too! As did we!
We had lots of fun with Carter, Kim, and Lillie just touring Huntsville and experiencing yummy, local cuisine! Can't wait for more future fun and trips to come!
With time off, there was plenty of time for pictures! I decided to document a few cute things!
My, what cute toes you have baby!
Frog legs...I don't think I was ever that flexible...
Look at all that hair! We're hoping it doesn't fall out! Maybe it'll just transition into "real" hair!
And now for my shout-out to Target! If you have little girls, go check out the Liberty of London line at Target! Here are two dresses we can't wait for Julip to wear!
Our sleeping model just doesn't know how cute she's gonna be in these dresses! And I must add, Daddy picked them out! (I often ask for clothing counsel from him, too!)
For those of you who've asked if she ever cries....
she does!
But this may explain why...
We were just curious! :) Now we know what she looks like blonde and as a teenager!
But, she also smiles...
She sometimes even dances...kinda...
But she mostly just stares and learns faces...
I love it when she wrinkles her forehead!
I also love it when her hair stands up!
And thankfully, during Spring Break, Daddy got a lot of baby time! I was so thankful to capture some of those moments!
And finally, when Spring Break is around, we get a little extra sleep!
We wish we could have updated sooner, but hope you all enjoy more photos! Oh how fun it is to be a wife and a mom!
Much love,
the Jernigans
