Little Julip is one month old!!!

Julip is one month old TODAY! Can you believe it? It's gone by so quickly! It feels like just yesterday I was moving around furniture, eating watermelon and spicier food than I can handle trying to start labor to avoid inducing! But today, TODAY!, she's already one month old! It's going by so fast...I now understand why my mom always talked about putting me in the freezer to stop me from growing! Although it's sad she's moving past her newborn stage, it's exciting to think of the days soon to come when we'll be able to play with her! I can't wait for the day I watch her run into her daddy's legs when he gets home from work, or the day she reaches out to give me a real hug for the first time! Oh being a parent is truly something you can't describe in words! Much like trying to describe the love you have for the love of your life... Oh God is so good!

So, here are a few pictures! I know I torture those of you who check the blog daily only to find that it hasn't been updated...but alas, here is an update!

Remember these days, those of you who are parents? We've been taking of lot of these...sweet, sweet naps! However, I seriously think my high school years were far more tiring than being a new parent!

I was playing around with my camera, picking up pink colors, and she gave the camera a little smile! How precious!

Julip's been getting lots of letters and packages! One came this week and SURPRISE! Lauren Pratt knitted her this beautiful blanket! It's so sweet that with each stitch she stitched in love!

Julip finally met her "Uncle" Carter! (He's really her second cousin, but Carter is more like a brother to me...we figured Carter will be her honorary uncle! She won't be too confused!) We were encouraging him to hold her as much as he could. Maybe soon we'll add some more newborns to the family!

During breakfast with Mary Palmer, she shot a few family photos! I love our little family! and I love Mary Palmer!

Gran got her hands on her great-granddaughter! And OH how she loved her! Gran is sure that she's got her daddy's long fingers! So we're thinking the cello, piano, and harp? What ya think?

Dustin wants to play with her so much! Even though she's grown a lot, she's still so tiny in her daddy's big hands!

She slept like this for about thirty minutes! Stretching those little arms out since she couldn't for nearly nine months!

We put her in her smocked dress Melanie Dew gave her! She looks so beautiful in her Sunday outfit! She's got the question in her eyes, "Daddy, do you think I'm pretty?"

Late morning napping! She's not sleeping as frequently throughout the day now...just growing up...

On top of all the changes we've had around here, we've experienced another life changing event! NEW CHACOS!!! Dustin finally convinced me that it was time for some new ones! My other two pair were beyond wearing :(! BUT how incredible are these! I have worn them everyday! And the best part about it all is that they were 50% off! We just lucked out and happened to get the ONE box with the red dot! Wow! I love them!

I've really enjoyed how having a baby brings the family together! In the past month, I've seen nearly every family member! We're still waiting on a few to meet little Julip, but it has been such a blessing visiting and catching up with everyone! We love our family dearly, each and every one!

Next time we post, she'll be even older...
