Wasn't I

During the Saturday morning cuddlefest!

... just pregnant? Julip turned 10 months old on the 11th! Once again, I don't believe the words I just typed out! I will forever sing my part along with the other parents who say, "They just grow up so darn fast!" It is the truth!

Rubber Ducky is Jubie's favorite!

She's so proud of herself for being able to get around on her own!

To catch you up to date, Julip weights 21 pounds (....which means we need a new carseat- eeeek, Santa?) and is too squirmy for me to measure her height. She wins the award for sleeping the most out of any Jernigan averaging about 13 hours a night and three 1-1.5 hour naps a day. (And that, my friends, is the only way I'm able to finish school!)

We're convinced she's so happy because she sleeps so much!

Maybe she just practices her funny faces for 13 hours?

She has two baby teeth both on the bottom and no sign of new ones on there way yet. Although she may be behind on growing those pearly whites, I'm very thankful since she is still nursing (if ya know what I mean)! Speaking of nursing, that is Julip's only food she's eating right now. When I make dinner, I'll offer whatever vegetables we're having for her to try out. This can start a food fight. Now that she's learned how to spit, food doesn't stay in her mouth very long! But ya know what? No five year old starts kindergarten exclusively breast feeding and she's obviously a chunk, so I'm not too worried!

She could also probably win an award for drooling! ewww

She will drink prune juice. Prunes are good for... well you know!

She is really getting a hang of waving and waves at people who are around. She's such a charmer! And Julip can get around as she pleases. She'll crawl all over the place until she reaches something she can pull up on. She loves to stand up holding on to the coffee table but her favorite thing to do is stand up on her own. She's really starting to get a feel of her center and learning how to balance. She impresses us more and more everyday as she stands up longer and longer on her own. I really think we'll see a first step before Christmas!

Are you waving and growling, little Monster? :)

She found that air comes out of the ground and blows her hair straight up!

She also found her basket of toys... and as true to character chooses the wire over any fluffy bunny!

She has not officially said any words yet. She can make the sounds "dada" and "mama" but we are not convinced that she's referring to us. She definitely knows who her mama and dada are, though! :)

The good thing about cloth diapers is that they are so much bulkier and add padding to falling down! :) (Plus they're super cute!)

SHE'S STANDING ALL BY HERSELF!!!

Julip is such a joy! She's so happy and so content! I know in a blink she'll be one years old.... I cannot believe it! We love you baby girl!

You are our sunshine!
xoxo,
the Jernigans

She's still precious. I love that she found the vent. It's amazing what can provide hours of entertainment.
