"Hello there, baby blues!"
She was so sleepy from an eventful weekend in Mississippi!
Don't worry, I can't do math that well. But Julip is 7 months old (and two days)! And boy, is she growing! Julip is 27.5" tall and weights 17 lbs. Not much of a boost, but her developing has definitely jumped! She can officially sit up without support. We still don't leave her sitting up alone, but if she's on the floor, many times she'll get to a sitting position all by herself! She also likes to lounge. This is so funny to us! She just props herself up on her elbow and chills out there. Lounging seems to be what she prefers most. But what impresses us most is that SHE CAN CRAWL!

Yes! I know! We just entered a new stage... a stage of keeping up with a baby on the move, keeping cords off the floor, and keeping a CLEAN floor (for the most part)! She can get where ever she wants to go. She has such a determined look on her face when she's on a mission to get to her monster doll, our feet, or the air vent in the floor. She hasn't quite mastered the "one hand in front of the other, one knee at a time"... but, she is moving! So precious!

She's almost standing up while trying to reach something on the coffee table!
Also, we have introduced solids again with much more success! She has eaten sweet potatoes three days in a row! I wouldn't say she likes it, but she swallows it for sure. Today she will try avocado. I've heard most baby's love this green fruit so hopefully Julip will too!
Look at that expression! She would slap her hands down on the table over and over again, ha!

And yes, it is in her hair! ahh!
Julip has also started repeating syllables. She can say "ma-ma-ma" and "da-da-da". Dustin and I happily think she's referring to US! She also makes cute noises by pushing her tongue against her gums with a "th" sound. I love the sounds she makes.
She was talking to me while we were cooking away in the kitchen.
She scrunches her little nose in the cutest way when smiling! :)
Right after a bath. Her hair kinda looked curly like her daddy's!
Julibelle is rather talkative. She talks and talks all day long. But it is very funny, as soon as we get around other people, Julip is silent! She zips her lips and spends her time looking at all the activity around her. It is so funny that she does this. Maybe she'll be shy? We just think she's so aware of her surroundings and just interested in observing everything!
Look at those glowing eyes! They are blueish green up close! Who knows if they'll stay like that...
Relaxing with Daddy after a long day of fun!
Baby girl has sweet little fingers that have mastered the pincer grasp. She can put her pointer and thumb together in order to pick up toys, small objects, and pinch! Often, when I'm nursing her, she'll pinch my arms leaving little red marks. But doesn't bother me, it's just so cute!
Get those keys, baby girl!
Do they taste good? Better than sweet potatoes?
Another favorite new development is that Julip is just now starting to reach out for us when we pick her up! That puts a smile on my face every time! What a precious baby girl!

"Mommy, come pick me up!"
We love her more and more each and every day! And we thank God for her little life always!
Julip can also now put her pacifier in her mouth all by herself. She'll put it in wrong, take it out, and try again till she gets it right! How can her brain do that?

P.S. My favorite cousins Carter and Kim are having their first baby- a BOY! and his due date is the exact same date as Julip's birthday- Feburary 11! :) We're so excited for them and for Julip to have a friend. They will be FANTASTIC parents!
