If you haven't heard, we finally decided on a middle name! After the social security worker came by our hospital room for the second time, we had to pick!!! We decided on Julip Emmaline Jernigan and are so happy! It fits her perfectly! :) What a precious name for our precious baby girl!!!
She also had her first bath (other than the hospital wipe-down) today! :) She actually seemed to enjoy it! The warm water and warm towel probably helped! Her daddy knows how to calm her down when she starts getting fussy with his big warm hands and sweet voice! And when we were all cleaned, she smelled delicious and her hair was fuzzier than ever! :) What a joy it is to be a mommy! and how wonderful it is to have Dustin as the daddy of our Julip!
We'll, we've been home now for two nights! And everything is going lovely! Her discharge weight was 6 lbs 10 oz, but we went to our first doctor's check up today (I know, already?) and she has gained one oz back! So she's 6 lbs 11 oz! She loves to eat! Which also means, she's a great pooper!!! Hooray for everything working correctly! Praise the Lord!
She's had more visitors! Papa finally made it home from his business trip and traveled far to hold his baby granddaughter!!! Uncle Eric and Whitney came to see her and Uncle Davis and future-Aunt Anna, too! She loves her visitors! :)
Papa and Mimi love her so much! :) They're happy to be young grandparents! She's the luckiest baby in the world to have them, too!

We can't belive she's already four days old...she's growing up way too fast!
