Staycation!

A few weeks ago, Dustin's sweet parents came up for a visit in the city. We were so excited they were coming but had no clue how much fun we'd have. It was seriously a staycation for us. Wanna know why? I didn't have to cook a meal! :) (that's just a small reason why we had such fun, ha.)

We also explored! 

The Cathedral Basilica in the Central West End. Okay, so I have been to many many European Cathedrals in my lifetime, and honestly, this might be the prettiest cathedral I've ever seen. Mosaics cover every inch of the floor, walls, and ceiling!

They stick together like glue. 

Jubie was resting with her doll, reading a good book, and chatting on the phone. :) 

We ate at new places- here we're enjoying a light lunch at Kayak's coffee. 

Walking in to see all there is to see at the history museum! 

And of course we went to the zoo!

One penguin, two penguins, and.... a Julip! 

Usually we rush out of the gift shop to avoid any cuddling with stuffed animals. So, Bobo and Mimi bought her a penguin so she could cuddle with him all the time. (She's actually sleeping with him now!)

The animals were putting on a show!
