Look at those green eyes...
While we have been able to get out a little, most of our time has been spent indoors just dreaming of warm fuzzies. (If you too are indoors wanting a new tune to give a listen to, check out In Front of the Red Piano our church released. Our family friend, James Parker, is an awesome singer/songwriter/rockclimber/dad and asked yours truly to sing background vocals!)
Riding on her daddy's back!
She still doesn't know what to think about the white fluff stuff.
We heard a gift guideline recently that we may adopt. The idea is three gifts: Something you need, something you want, and something to read! What a great idea!
So keeping in with the little jingle, Julip has chosen her three gifts!
She is quickly approaching the need of a new car seat. She is hitting the weight/height limit, is turning one, and is just tired of facing the wrong direction! :)
Julip doesn't want to be left out of the family's secret language. She wants to participate in Bavarian-style hoo-ha-has and speak German with her momma and daddy! She really wants Muzzy's German language series. She doesn't want to waste time watching the "idiot box" unless she's learning! (sidenote: As children, my brother and I both watched and learned from the VHS version of these. We can still remember exact scenes and sayings. Funny!)
And lastly, Julip told us she wants to read books like this one, this one, and this one. Classic, must have children books. She thinks they'll taste good too like all her other books she's chewed.
Even though her birthday will be a cold day, we'll all be full of warm, fuzzy feelings. Cannot wait to celebrate!
With love,
the Jernigans, xoxo
P.S. If you are interested in participating in the gift giving of Jubie's first birthday, shoot me an email carojernigan(at)gmail(dot)com and I'll hook you up with our address! :)

I learned french with Muzzy too. Great videos! I can't believe she's almost 1. Hopefully I'll actually make one of the books about Maggy Monster that I've been dreaming up for the past year and get it sent.

You my friend, are a lifesaver! (literally, we might have died.) All those things sounded really yummy, I will keep you updated on our progress! :)
