First Fourth

Beautiful Mimi with beautiful baby Julip!

Julip can't get enough of her sweet Bobo!

I'm always frustrated when uploading the camera from a fun-fabulous weekend and finding that there aren't very many photos. But I do know that this is the result of almost having too much fun...too much fun to even pick up the camera and snap a few shots!

Those baby blues are beautiful! (Disregard the 12 year old (me) in the photo.)

She has plenty of room to grow, but I don't know if this momma will be able to carry her if she gets too much bigger...

We spent our First Fourth in Bham with the fam! I explained to Mimi after she apologized for "pressuring us into coming for the weekend" that I feel no pressure at all. In fact, I feel like it is a family vacation (that's ultimately free)! We love making memories with Mimi and Bobo! And especially enjoy watching Julip play with her loving grandparents. I hope one day our home's environment will be as comfortable and inviting as y'all's home.

Sadly, baby girl scratched her right eyeball. Thankfully, it's healed now!

Mimi reading to Julibelle. We're hoping she'll be a reader, just like her daddy!

We mostly relaxed (and ate) as all good Americans do on the Fourth of July. But after feeling the weight of all the goodies, we strolled along a creek as all good Americans should. AND, best of all, Julip broke in her (our) new toy! The Deuter Kid Comfort III. Oh the places she'll go in this pack! We will definitely get a workout as we trek on our future trips to North Carolina and Germany! (post and pictures will come, don't you worry!)

Bobo getting in his daily workout!

We can't go to Birmingham without visiting the botanical gardens!

Our little family! We'll be putting lots of miles on this pack!

All in all, it was another marvelous weekend of family memory making. As always.

I couldn't resist taken this picture... and I couldn't resist posting it either. My babies cuddling- what they do best!

Hanging out with her Uncle Eric!

His first time holding his little niece!

And today is a very special day! It is Uncle Eric's birthday! We hope you have a wonderful day! We love you and celebrate your life, brother!!! :)

With all the love in the universe,
the Jernigans, all three
