A Visit from Friends

This past weekend, a dear friend of ours, Vanessa, came for a visit! She also brought Julip’s little friend, Haley- the Blue Ridge Baby! Julip and Haley Kate are exactly six months apart, which will not seem like a lot in a couple of years, but as of now is monumentally different. It’s so interesting watching older babos and thinking of Julip taking on such major developments. Most noticeably, Haley is so much bigger than Julibelle! Haley can pull up and stand so easily, grab anything and everything at her discretion (including finger foods- wow), talk in repetitive syllables like “Mamama” and, best of all, hold on and hug her momma! J It blows my mind thinking that Julip will be at that stage in just six short months! Time to put both of these girls in the freezer, right Vanessa?

While on this subject, Julip is conquering major developments already! She is controlling her head more and more when upright and can now push her upper body up while on her tummy! What a strong girl!

Julip has finally noticed her toys in her activity gym! Little girl has been kicking the ball and holding on to the other colorful toys! She can also roll onto her side while on her back! Very impressive!

She will hold onto anything she can reach…including her momma’s hair (time for the mommy-tail) and daddy’s face!

I love seeing Dustin as a daddy!

She can even fly and just smiles and smiles!

And today is a very special day for Julip! It’s her Mimi’s birthday! J Happy Birthday sweet Mimi! We can’t wait to see you soon! Julip is such a blessed girl to have YOU as her Mimi! WE LOVE YOU!
