Isn't this precious! :) So she has already passed her one week mark! So sad. But happy too! She's growing too fast! We can't believe we were in the hospital just nine days ago... if feels like forever ago. But we also can't believe she's already nine days old! Goodness! :)

She seems to enjoy baths! And after her umbilical cord fell off (I know, already), we gave her a real one! She loves it! :)

There's the fresh belly button! :) Speaking of that, new mommy here was worried because there was some oozing and a little odor. So we went to the doctor. Once he heard what I thought was wrong, he laughed at me. He said new parents keep his job amusing and just mentioned that her cord stump would be off by the next diaper change! I am still happy we went though...better safe than sorry, and at least we gave the Doc something to laugh about. :)

Grandma Su Su. She left today after a week with "little sister"! That's Julip's nickname from this grandma.

We may have to wait a while for the swing, but doesn't she look cute! This is from her Uncle Philip and his family. How generous! I know she'll be swinging away soon!

Little Julip, all bundled up in a ball in her outfit that is too big all of them are too big ha!
Diaper change! she's wide awake! :)

How incredible is having a family! We can't believe that we are now three! :) Dustin and I are so blessed and thankful for this little person in our lives! :)

So we two girls definitely have daddy's unconditional love! He is such an amazingly incredible husband and now father! It blesses my heart and makes me tear up to see him with his little girl! :) God is good! Go GOD! :)
Until next time! With love,
the Jernigan family! :)

I loved being with Little Baby Sister her first ten days on this Earth. She is such a darling, content, little bitty girl! Her mom is very attentive and seems to know just what to do! And, her daddy is definitely "hands on" too! He's not at all afraid to pick her up and take care of her and can always calm her down if she's fussy! They will both be great parents! What a perfect blessing this little baby is!! God is good!
Finally, just what I've been pining for. Thanks for the new pictures, I just adore her.
I cant believe she's cordless already, Haley's took 3 weeks, and I was worried about an infection too. I got a little medicine which I think she used for a day. Aren't the worries of a new mom fun. :)
